What we review

Four areas that decide how ready your practice is

You send the numbers. We look at each area and tell you what needs attention first.

Payer mix

Commercial payers and Medicaid may handle the new codes differently. We look at where your OB volume sits so you know which payer policies matter most.

Payer contracts

Many OB fee schedules are built around global codes. We flag the contract terms worth reviewing with your payers before the new codes take effect.

Current maternity revenue

Billing each phase separately changes when and how OB revenue comes in. We look at your current OB collections and where cash flow could shift.

Pregnancies crossing into 2027

Patients who start prenatal care in 2026 and deliver in 2027 fall on both sides of the change. We look at how many you have and what to plan for.

Why start now

Some of your 2027 deliveries are already on your schedule

A patient who starts prenatal care this year may deliver after January 1. Your payers' transition rules decide how those pregnancies are billed. The review shows how many you have and which payers they sit with.

How it works

Three steps, no software to install

STEP 1

Tell us about your practice

Only your name and email are required. Add OB volume, payers, and contracts if you have them. Estimates are fine.

STEP 2

Dr. Signorelli reviews them

A physician reads your numbers across the four areas and notes the gaps that matter most for your practice.

STEP 3

Pick a time to talk it through

Right after the form, choose a time on Dr. Signorelli's calendar. She walks you through what to look at before January 1.

The change

For over 30 years, most pregnancies were billed with one global code. In 2027, each phase is billed on its own.

Prenatal and postpartum visits move to E/M codes. Labor management and delivery get new codes. Practices that check payers, contracts, and active pregnancies now have more time to adjust.
